PHLX Shareholder InformationWhat Happened?On November 7th, 2007 NASDAQ OMX entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX). Under the terms of the agreement, NASDAQ OMX paid approximately $696 million in cash consideration for the capital stock of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange. The deal closed on July 24th, 2008.
