Quarterly Changes to the NASDAQ Q-50 Index

NEW YORK, June 10, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today the results of the quarterly re-ranking of the NASDAQ Q-50 Index (Nasdaq:NXTQ), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, June 20, 2011.

The following eight securities will be added to the Index: Acme Packet, Inc. (Nasdaq:APKT), Focus Media Holding Limited (Nasdaq:FMCN), lululemon athletica inc. (Nasdaq:LULU), MercadoLibre, Inc. (Nasdaq:MELI), Patterson-UTI Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq:PTEN), Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:REGN), Sohu.com Inc. (Nasdaq:SOHU), and TIBCO Software Inc. (Nasdaq:TIBX).

The Index is designed to track the performance of the 50 securities that are next in line to replace the securities currently included in the NASDAQ-100 Index® (Nasdaq:NDX). As a result of the re-ranking, the following six securities will be removed from the Index: BE Aerospace, Inc. (Nasdaq:BEAV), Cypress Semiconductor Corporation (Nasdaq:CY), R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company (Nasdaq:RRD), Synopsys, Inc. (Nasdaq:SNPS), Steel Dynamics, Inc. (Nasdaq:STLD), and United Therapeutics Corporation (Nasdaq:UTHR).
