Johan Torgeby is since 2017 the President and Group Chief Executive of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB), a Nordic financial services group. He leads a team of approximately 16,000 employees who serve more than 3,000 large corporate and institutional customers, 400,000 small and medium sized enterprises and four million private individuals.

In Sweden and the Baltic countries, SEB offers universal banking services. In Denmark, Finland, Norway, Germany and the UK, the bank has a strong focus on corporate and investment banking, based on a full-service offering to corporate and institutional clients. The international nature of SEB's business is reflected in its presence in some 20 countries worldwide.

Johan Torgeby has 25 years of banking and financial services experience and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Lund University, Sweden.

Prior to his appointment to his present position, Johan Torgeby was in 2014 named Co-Head of Large Corporates & Financial Institutions and member of the Group Executive Committee. He has held numerous positions within the Large Corporates & Financial Institutions division. He joined SEB 2009 from Morgan Stanley & Co in London.
